This project is based on the musical form ‘fugue’, in which different musical ideas are superimposed. Irune Jiménez Orbea moves from this idea to a symbolic fugue, where she speaks of brief public recognition, of the double and of opposites. A musical fugue has three or four melodic voices, which are depicted as images in this project. The artist, the audience and the spotlight dialogue with each other, moving and multiplying. Light refers to the spectacle that makes what is illuminated real; the dialogue is with the audience; and the artist shapes the creative process, when the lights multiply.
The artistic project becomes entirely visual, with a series of photographs printed on Lambda. A musical work is then added as animation in a performance and captured in a video.
